Choosing the Right Disc Jockey

Disc Jockey entertainers are by far the most popular form of wedding entertainment, and for good reason. DJs have a high degree of versatility. This versatility allows them to play music from every era and adjust to you and your guests, in order to create an atmosphere where everyone can get involved and have a good time.

However, not all DJs are good DJs. Making the correct choice for your reception can spell the difference between an elegant day, filled with moments to remember or the wedding day blues.

Our disc jockeys have a minimum of two years of full-time experience. This includes experience in radio, nightclubs and mobile services.

DANNY DWYER
Title: President/Owner
Radio Experience: 15 years
Night Club Experience: 9 years

In 1982 I was a high school Disc Jockey for a local radio station in my hometown of Mammoth Lakes, CA. Every weekend we would have high school dances and more, and since I was the local radio DJ, I was always asked to dj the parties. Then and there I knew radio and music were for me.

In 1987 a close friend got me hooked on country music so I started DJing in various night clubs in Los Angeles, Denim & Diamonds, Incahoots, Country Star, Red Onion, Moose McGillaguttys and a few others. I also worked at the #1 Country radio station in Los Angeles KZLA. I was a disc jockey at the clubs at night, when the Afternoon Drive Jock asked me to become his producer and that was all she wrote.

From there I worked my way into the promotions field learning everything I could about radio. I moved on from KZLA in Los Angeles, to KTPI in the Antelope Valley in Los Angeles, and also KHAY in Ventura. I have been with Infinity Broadcasting for 8 years, where we own the stations KUPL, KUFO, Johnson 970AM, KKJZ, KINK, MIX104 & K-HITS.

You can also occasionally see me filling in for Tony Martinez on Fox 12's "Good Day Oregon".
